    Our stock of this material is measured in grams, not tons.

    We’re not a material wholesaler, we do custom prototyping and compounding and keep a variety of materials on hand for experimentation and quick turnaround.

    We’re happy to help a fellow traveler, if you need a small sample for something we can try to oblige, but if need a significant volume then we’re not who you’re looking for.

    Anything you see on our inventory list we have, but probably only in small sample quantities. We keep such materials on hand for rapid development, research, and testing. If you need a supplier for significant or sustained volumes of material, we can suggest vendors, but we aren’t what you’re looking for.

    If you are interested in a custom material for either performance or price reasons that has similar properties to the Escorez resins, we can work with that. I’ll pass your request on to our research staff to see if they have any suggestions.

    In 2006 we received a letter from CIBA concerning the withdrawal of Irgafos XP40 and XP60, due to a component that could cause infertility problems at high dosages. Based on the technical data sheets, this common component is the lactone HP-136. Is it right that HP-136 and all blends containing this compound, are withdrawn from the product list?

    Not necessarily. As we discuss in our post about plastics additives, Problematic or dangerous compounds can be a result of interactions between additives, or the conditions and methods used to blend them in. Lactone HP-136 could be safe when used in different compounds or under different conditions, even though it was deemed unsafe in those two materials.

    That being said, we are not familiar with the particular concerns or research done by the CIBA, nor have we done targeted research on Lactone HP-136 ourselves to comment about its safety in particular.

    hola. les hablo porque me interesa el polywax 506 ya que en mi empresa hacemos un poceso de preservacion a los metales y utilizamos ese quimico. me gustaria saber como lo puedo comprar. que costo tienen y si puedo hacer la compra por la internet.

    Mantenemos sólo las poblaciones pequeñas de materiales a mano para el prototipado rápido, la investigación y producción a escala de banco-tapa. Si sólo necesita cantidades de muestra de un material, estaremos encantados de intentar ayudar, pero no son una fuente para la compra de volumen.
